Original notes from collector: 245 Elizabeth St. The Hospital for Sick Children. Previous to this date the building was used by a Sisterhood of the Anglican Church. Today, this same building is the splendid hospital of mercy for our children at College and Elizabeth Sts. – a monument to the philanthropy and humanitarianism of the late John Ross Robertson, founder of the Telegram.
