Original notes from collector: Front St West. The old Queen's Hotel. Built in 1845. Original Knox College, later Sword's Hotel) shown on an earlier slide). Long an old and interesting landmark of Toronto. A place of historic reverence to the Toronto Camera Club. On Monday, March 17th, at this hotel, the then Mayor of Toronto, W.B. McMurrich, moved the motion that brought the club into existence. The motion was seconded by Hugh Neilson, first manager of the Bell Telephone Company. Photographer: Unknown
