Original notes from collector: The Grange, donated to the city by the late Goldwyn Smith as the nucleus of an Art museum. The present day buildings of the Ontario College of Art were built around it. Credit must be accorded to the late Sir Edmund Walker for his leadership in the building of the Toronto Art Gallery, of which the above building is the centre. Photographer: C.G. Begg
