Scope and Content:

Files consist of oral history records documenting the life and career of Roydon Hughes (b. 1905), who was a criminal lawyer who practiced in Toronto. Interview topics include: select cases in Court of Appeal; select cases in Supreme Court of Canada; changes in criminal law; the Charter of Rights. Interview conducted by Sandy Price. File includes four audio cassette recordings from a series of three interviews and a transcript (158 p.) with index.
