File consists of oral history records documenting the life and career of John Agro (b. 1919), former senior partner of Agro, Zaffiro in Hamilton, Ontario. Interview topics include: St. Michael's College, University of Toronto; World War II; Osgoode Hall Law School; articling; early practice; select cases; Counsel for Police Association; Chairman of the Harbour Commission, Hamilton; Heath v. Hamilton Football Club. Interview conducted by Christine J.N. Kates. File includes seven audio cassette recordings from a series of four interviews, a transcript (203 p.), a copy one item of correspondence outlining how the oral history would be preserved and accessed through the Osgoode Society Oral History Programme, and a copy of a release form. |
