File consists of oral history records documenting the life and career of Janet Boland (b.1923), a lawyer who was made a County Court Judge in 1972, and joined the Supreme Court of Ontario in 1976. Interview topics include: University of Western Ontario; Osgoode Hall Law School; articling; early practice; judge, County Court, York, 1972-1976; Justice, Supreme Court of Ontario, 1976; select cases. Interview conducted by Paul Iacono. File includes six audio cassette recordings from a series of three interviews and a transcript with index (126 p.).
