File consists of oral history records documenting the life and career of Ross Fair (b. 1925), a lawyer who was appointed Family Court Judge for Waterloo County (1966), later being appointed Senior Judge of the Central West Ontario region (1977-). Interview topics include: University of Toronto; Osgoode Hall Law School; articling; early practice; move to Kitchener; judges in St. Catherines; sole practice, Galt, 1961; appointment as Family Court Judge; family court system; Senior Judge, Central West Ontario Region, 1977. Interview conducted by Christine J.N. Kates. File includes eight audio cassette recordings from a series of three interviews and a transcript with index (159 p.).
