File consists of oral history records documenting the life and career of David Henry (b. 1916), a lawyer who was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1942, and later appointed to the Supreme Court of Ontario in 1973. Interview topics include: family background and history; Queen’s University; Osgoode Hall Law School; World War II; Department of Justice; Solicitor to the Treasury; Combines Investigation Act; Assizes; capital punishment; select cases; Penetanguishene – mental problems and arbitration and mediation, among others. File consists of ten audio cassette recordings and a transcript with index (228 p.).
